Of course, if registration is disabled, there could be a hint placed somewhere near that from other instances you can interact with content on lemmy.world just like you had registered on it. Would there be any benefit to lemmy.world admins running a lemmy2.world and redirecting new users to sign up there? It would spread the load and federation between the two should be easier due to proximity and having the same admins.
