I don’t doubt that this woman’s human rights are being violated right now, given how Iran usually operates, but it’s incredibly suspicious to find an anonymous Internet rando who claims to know the specifics on that alleged violence that other reputable sources apparently don’t.

If you have a trustworthy source on this detail, I’d like to see it, otherwise it kinda sounds like you’re sprinkling fake details into a very real story about the oppression of women, which isn’t helpful.

I think broad decriminalization for possession, use, and small time dealing, with strict criminalization for production, and large scale distribution is the best possible solution. Legalization can be a step too far for certain extremely dangerous drugs like Fentanyl that should never be used outside of a hospital setting. We just need to make sure that whatever war we’re waging against drugs is against the actual people responsible for the problem, not the victims of the problem.

KDE. It’s customizable without adding lots of weirdness. It’s got a solid set of included tools like Dolphin and Konsole. It’s generally very stable and visually attractive.

No shade to other DEs. I’ve tried lots of them, I even have a couple of alternative DEs I’ll log into when they are useful (i3 is great if I am doing something repetitive). But KDE is just the most comfortable for me for daily use.
