Boring/repetitive work. For example, I regularly use an AI coding assistant to block our basic loop templates with variables filled in, or have it quickly finish the multiple case statements or assigning values to an object with a bunch of properties.
In little things like that, it’s great. But once you get past a medium sized function, it goes off the rails. I’ve had it make up parameters in stock library functions based on what I asked it for.
Lol, imagine thinking the USA and Russia would be on opposite sides when we have multiple Russian assets in the White House. And in Congress. And probably in the supreme court.
I’d rather go down fighting than end up as a Guantanamo photo subject.
When you’re a republican Nazi, they just let you do it.
I just think the government should be limited to things that only the government can handle… Business regulations? Those are all things that can only be handled by the government. Restrictions on what kind of stove I can buy? …Those are all bullshit.
So the government should be able to regulate what businesses can do, but not what businesses are allowed to sell? Seems legit.
Should we? Absolutely not
Will the left do it anyway? Probably, if history is an indication.
Lol, even a pipe dream calls this unrealistic.
I love Bernie, but he would have not been successful if he went third party and probably would have gotten trump elected with an actual majority in 2016.
I was lucky enough to go there when they still allowed people to go up the temple at Chichen Itza, and it was pretty cool, but I couldn’t image just climbing shit they tell you not to. Especially when the reasoning is protecting heritage.
Honestly, he’s lucky he didn’t trip on the way down. Those stairs are steep.
The truthfulness of the claim has been questioned, but Vance just seems like the kind of guy who would fuck a couch
But not the truthiness of the claim, which I think is the more important part.
As many times as you want, but make sure its an odd number.
Well, when your goal is to destroy government programs and offices so they they get replaced by rent seeking corporations so they can suck every penny from you, it really is.
The argument is probably that death spares him more suffering while being incarcerated.
The only part of that that doesn’t make sense is the citizens voting for it.
Racism. These policies are generally put forth with an implied wink and nudge that this will be used to target minorities. Unfortunately, they consider anyone outside of their tiny class and brainless minions to be a possible minority.
What’s the message?
" Look at how little we care. We think so little of what you think that we’re going to commemorate the time that we blew up a whole bunch of people with communications devices and we’re going to give it as a victory trophy to this brownshirt shithead that pretends to be a working mans politician."
John Naziman
You don’t have citizens united in there, which I would argue is one of the largest modern causes of our current situation. Had citizens united not been vomited into the world, we might have been in a slightly better place without a decade and a half of practically unrestricted corporate propaganda shoved down our throats. I’d bet that trump wouldn’t have won in 2016 if it wasn’t for the unlimited funding he got (along with billions in free advertising from the “news” media).
Republican presidents politicians are a pox on this country.
What about the idiots who chose to stay home and not vote at all. They may not have voted for it, but they weren’t voting against it either, and ambivalence in the face of fascism is tacit support.
