Yea… ‘Guns don’t kill people… blood loss and organ damage does.’

Bacon, pineapple, and jalapenos. Ambrosia my brother.
Independent progressive leadership (the guy we’d like to be president) is saying staying home, or voting third party this time is a terrible shortsighted move that will usher in more global suffering?
It all comes down to power. Progressives will have more room to work with if Biden is president. Think of the down ballot races. Voting D is complacency and complicity if the grand sum of your political action only takes place on a Tuesday in November.
Tf you on about? Bernie was on PSA a few days ago trying to talk to wayward leftists asking them not throw out decades of progress and to do anything in their power to prevent a Trump win.
It is appreciated.
Cast iron: cook a load of bacon bacon before you try making tomato sauce and don’t put it in a dishwasher. Trying not to scratch Teflon is way more of a pain.
So. Bone to pick. Gender is a made up society thing. 100%. It’s a performance, and gender change happens all the time. When people ‘pass’ you’ll never know. Do not confuse this with sex.
Sex is biological. And biology is messy. Do you have problems when innersexed children are ‘corrected’ to fit in a binary?
We’ll burn that bridge when we come to it. First we register to vote.
On the human rights. Now cut the shit. Cognitive empathy is a learned skill one can practice. Try.
…We also sometimes eat other people when shit hits the fan. 🙁.
Yeah, was listening to BBC this morning -Tim Franks interviewing Israeli intelligence about allowing fuel through to get water pumps going again. It was very clear the answer was no, but they refused to say so directly. The interviewee became hostile and kept going on about how hamas uses these people as human shields. … Is the west supposed to think dying of thirst the more humanitarian option? Is that what they’re going for? jfc
I’d also recommend a recentish book about him and Lincoln called The Zealot and the Emancipator in case anyone wants some light reading. The politics around Bleeding Kansas feels relevant to the US today.
John Brown did nothing wrong. (except maybe a bit tactically at the end.)
You have to take a step back and look at it on a bigger scale. The state caused generational harm. Kids are in worse positions because of what the state stole from their grandparents. I can’t look up stats on my phone, but it is a thing that is measurable.
I definitely believe the poor need more resources, but it’s a different discussion from affirmative action.
Equality v equity.
Do you want every to be given the exact same resources at the start? Or do you want everyone to be able to reach the same outcome?
The state legislated racism - kneecapped a swathe of the population’s ability to access education and prosper. So how could the state possibly provide restitution for this without addressing the population it did this to?
It doesn’t appear so, but a sopuli admin is a regular poster so I imagine anything untoward will be noticed.
Pride cometh before the fall (out a window.)
Dude should stay away from tall buildings for a while… or not? Hard to pick a winner here.
Oh guy. The word you want is murder. Objects kill people all the time. Every 20 minutes you gotta put down the 2a ganda and look at something in the distance.
