FYI I spent fifteen years as a property manager for one of the bigger development/rental companies in the US and represented them hundreds of times in court in four different states. Judges are generally pretty hostile to tenants unless you bring a really solid case, and even then, if the landlord is making an effort to address your grievances they’re most likely going to side with the landlord (in my experience).
They’re probably trying to get in and proofread/polish the material. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t love a second Trump presidency.
Prices are still going up every time I go to the store. It’s nice for some think tank to say “inflation is down” but until I see prices stall out it’s just verbal masturbation.
You’re not wrong but 25% over 4 years isn’t going to even keep up with inflation if things keep going as they have. Our Union got 12% over two years for the upcoming contract and most of us aren’t happy about it. I know it’s better than most US workers are going to get but it’s not good enough.
I had heard Boeing had offered a 25% pay bump. Hadn’t heard it was over 4 years. 6.25% per year wouldn’t keep up with (real) inflation if it keeps going like it has for the past several.
I’m a little sad the union didn’t have a quip about Boeing assassinating former employees.

Most ‘hackers’ are just mid tier (mediocre) IT level types who rely on existing exploits floating around in the wild. It’d probably be hard to find any still in circulation for such an old system.
Nah you can use ghetto smtp to relay incoming mail to a different port on your server if your ISP blocks incoming 25 and sendinblue (it’s changed names but my sendinblue config is still working) to send outgoing mail if they block outgoing 25. It’s less than ideal but doable for low volume private email servers.
That was a good test run. I think it’s time to put it into production.

Any distro that ships KDE/Plasma as its default desktop should do the trick. I’m not personally using it right now but I hear OpenSUSE Tumbleweed is kicking a lot of rear end lately.
I would argue that it does dominate the desktop now as well, just not by usage numbers.
If I was told I had to use a windows desktop these days at home I think I’d start investing in a very large book collection.
