  • Which is clearly necessary, and companies know it.

Open any MMO built and organized around a player economy (designed by a for-profit corporation) and you will see they know that individual wealth can upset the balance of the game.

They set maximum currency values, or they charge you periodic taxes for existing in the server.

When people are being honest about wealth, we all know the concentration of wealth in the extreme fucks up the system for everybody.

And video game systems do not even have a scarcity problem like the real world.

  • I see a lot of MMOs being recommended, but I find them to be either shallow in combat or predatory unless you are seeking MMO specific things, so I’m going to point at single player/coop stuff.

Bethesda has a large selection of open world games, but I pretty much assume people have played all of them (Elder Scrolls / Fallout games).

If you are okay with going outside of Fantasy, the Far Cry series has some impressive technology in their older titles. Far Cry 2 is a personal favorite, your PC might be able to handle it.

    Borderlands series.

The original Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen holds up. This is probably my best recommendation based on your asks.

Lego Star Wars or the Lego Marvel game.

    Fable 1, 2, 3

The Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor / Shadow of War Games were pretty incredible but might be too high-end.

The first Red Dead Redemption might run for you.

Early Dark souls games might run. Maybe 1 or 2.

From here, I would start listing old Star Wars Jedi Knight series games.

I could probably go on, but this is most of the good stuff off the top of my head.

I forgot to add Mass Effect. Great for sci-fi, great leveling, and combat.

  • The implication of your proposition is that only genocide can decide this.

Your assumption is ludicrous and fascist. It says everything that needs to be said about your beliefs. By assuming only bloodshed is the solution, you remove the responsibility for you to face the genocide you are supporting.

I would have a criminal investigation and follow-up to this genocide similar to the Nuremberg Trials.

I want the people responsible locked up for life, and I want freedom for the people of Palestine.

So how about you? Can you honestly answer what exactly you want out of this?

  • If you truly believed this, you would be offended by the political use of rape to justify the genocide of children.

You don’t want to engage what my comment actually said, the fact that a single rape in the face of genocide does not an article make.

My comment was about the focus on this crime as an individual act justifying genocide and you want to refocus back to the singular act while not really addressing the editorializing of NYT.

You are playing the game the genocidal people want you to play instead of engaging this propoganda meaningfully.
