This is the typical days haul of artillery for a long time. However Russia is known of have a lot of artillery in various stockpiles. The number destroyed isn’t the point so much as it forced Russia to go back for even older artillery to replace it. Already we see them using systems designed in WWII (AFAIK nothing that saw service in WWII, but things designed then and built after the way).

Except that as an attacker you can choose where to attack and prepare to be there faster than the defenders can get people there. so you can attack with 30 where they only have 5 defenders and be gone before reenforcements arrive since they don’t know where you will attack until you start.

if they can attack they should at it forces russia to defend their whole line. If they don’t attack russia can leave the line undefended and thus concentrate forces for their attacks.

A little but the aerodynamits of shot will always be bad. A riifle will beat shot for range and accuracy. However for something moving that is close the in accuracy of shot improves your stastical odds of a hit.

China wants Taiwan. While some land in Russia might be nice it isn’t a big deal. They like Russia getting away with attacking Ukraine because it sets a global precedent that large powers can take over weaker powers.

Many cities try that. However it is very hard to pull that off when you have two way traffic, and busy cross streets make it worth. Two way traffic often means one direction has no cars, but the other does because the distance between lights is not something in control of the traffic engineers. And cross traffic means you need to handle the whole grid at once.

An Ambulance is expensive anywhere in the world. The only question is how do you hide the expensive. Most of the cost is having several vehicle with trained personal sitting around doing nothing just waiting for someone in need. If there is ever a time when there is one vehicle not ready to go but doing nothing you don’t have enough service for a potential worse disaster. Of course that means there is lots of room to hide the costs if you don’t want to tell the truth - which many do not.

An ambulance is a truck, and handles like one, they won’t be going as fast as a car on a two-lane mountain road - it isn’t possible to keep it on the road with perfect driving at speeds a small car can go. (an ambulance could be made smaller, but that is at the expensive of equipment they have inside so not a great compromise.)
