I use that occasionally but only like 2-3 times a year now. I use my bank’s app primarily just because it’s a fast dedicated way to check my balance. But I’d use the web app if I needed to for some reason

I don’t understand the banking comment, and I’ve seen it several times. Don’t other people’s banks have web portals? Other than maybe depositing a check remotely, are there features you actually need a native banking app for?
Not really. A reported comment rarely even gets evaluated in the context of what it’s replying to, let alone a long history. It might make sense to allow a user report to link comment/post examples of why a user is toxic to the user report. I know there are a couple of users I would’ve used that for.
We are currently missing the ability to report user accounts.
I do this too, but I realize I’m privileged to be able to. In past jobs people actually would get pissed at me for doing it. I had a manager have a really shitty talk with me about it once. I’d guess a lot of people have bad experiences like that
People say things like this but he’s probably successfully worked with several hundred more people than your average worker ever will.
…are we pretending your original comment wasn’t sarcastic?
You’re wrong
Silicone Valley
didn’t want it in their mouse.
Huh?
My point is that the word censorship carries a connotation of trying to suppress certain types of speech. While that may be true in some cases, for the most part if I get moderated it’s for an opinion I can understand or disagree with. In either case it’s an opinion. I’m not a victim. On some instances though, yeah censorship is kind of a thing. On .ml, anything seen as not extremely left wing gets deleted or banned, and that’s bad. But I can just avoid that shitty instance. No one owes me the “right” to be heard in every context.
It is telling that you consider moderation “censorship”

I’ve had it about 4.5 years now.
You can use a diff app directly such as meld which is free. Highly recommend.

I don’t think chromium should ever be encouraged. That is the one browser family trying and mostly succeeding at swallowing up the Internet. Google already has way too much power over the Internet, and it will only get worse if people don’t start leaving their ecosystem
Is there any opportunity to rage about Firefox that you don’t take? Seriously, so predictable
On the other hand, why did you feel the need to share this? Generally you are decreasing your security by this practice, and it’s not a good idea for others to adopt it. And no, you don’t need to understand security models and specific exploits for them to harm you
Lol their joke failed
I somehow suspect you like more than one thing about it
