  • It might seem like a leap, but if you consider my country is run by a minority of people who extract the maximum amount of wealth solely for themselves, possibly destroying the habitability of the planet for all mankind. They police the entire planet to stamp out terrorism and communists which are mostly just people who want to extract wealth more equitably. How can the few go against the wishes and benefit of the many. They get them fighting each other. Convince people that destroying yourself or at least your productivity is far worse a sin than enabling slavery, genocide, and an apocalyptic future.

  • Apologies for my post and respect for your appropriate response. Someone pissed in my Cheerios this morning.

Your post title grabbed my attention because I recently started watching Survivor for the first time (social event not really my pick). Anyway it’s fascinating to watch their behavior. These people are constantly talking about “reading” people. They’re always trying to inject meaning and intent where there is none. They are not as smart as they think they are, and they struggle with communication just as much as we do.

One thing I’ve noticed is NTs are constantly lying to each other then trying to “read between the lines.” Not so much malicious intent as keeping your cards close to your chest sort of thing. When someone comes up and just says what they mean, their minds explode. Many of them read into what you’re saying the worst possible interpretation. I’m still trying to figure this out.

I’ve seen a similar thing in court, where you think you’re trying to document facts and distill away all the emotion and speculation. WRONG! It seems to work like Survivor where 1 + 1 = 3.

  • I wasn’t trying to disable it. I wanted to move it off my puny OS drive SSD to a huge spin drive. It fought me tooth and nail even though it has a move button. I tried many ways including regedit until I finally gave up and turned it off.

The worst part was when I was trying to manually copy the files and it kept telling me I needed do purchase more cloud storage – to do a local file copy!

I concluded this obstinance was by design to sell more product. Especially after using Steam to shuffle some of my games around later that same day. Their software is wonderful now!
