  • Inside their countries they used to be. Italian migrant workers faced racist backlash in Germany at first. Then it shifted to Turkish migrant workers, then to Jugoslawian refugees, now to Arabs but also back to Turkish people as they are perceived as Muslim. Of course all minorities, European or not are facing racism, only the focus shifted.

Now we have a Nazis cooperating across Europe on two notions. The first being “Whites vs. Muslims” the other being that supposedly only ethnically homogenous countries could work, so Czech Republic for Czechs, Germany for Germans, Hungary for Hungarians, Netherlands for Dutch…

  • Biden and Harris want the annihilation of Palestine. They could put an end to it now. Everyone who claims that the parties have any sliver of difference in regards to their actions on Israels genocide was proven wrong once again. Trump just speaks the quiet part out loud. But this was the most clear “red-line” It was specifically measured, none of this “its not a large invasion of Rafah, only a small one” bullshit. The US made an explicit demand. It was not even remotely reached.

This was yet another insulting move against the muslim, black and other minority communities in the US by the Democrats. it said “we believe you are this stupid to fall for it.”

Guess what, the people said “we are tired of your genocidal bullshit”.

  • There is only two opponents to Ukraine aid in the current federal parliament. The neoliberal FDP who just got booted out of the government and wanted to use Ukraine aid to ransom away social security, infrastructure investments and work towards mitigating climate change, and the fascist Putin financed AfD. The FDP is Merz favorite potential next coalition partner, if they should make it to parliament again. The AfD is what Merz is working towards since three years, but cannot make a coalition yet, because he needs to work more on normalizing them first. This currently happens on local and state level.

Merz is only been “pro Ukraine” because Scholz messed up regarding Taurus missiles and because the FDP used it as ransom to ruin other aspects of the state budget. Merz focused on this message as a driving wedge in the dysfunctional, now broken coalition. There is little reason to believe, that he is genuinely caring about Ukraine, or that he would make that a deciding factor in coalition negotiations.

  • But i was told repeatedly, that Biden/Harris were only toeing the line bc. of the election and once it was over, they would change things?

Turns out the whole ordeal was yet another piss poor maneuver to lie to the people, just like that “aid pier” that ended up being used for IDF instead.

Biden and Harris will do nothing to stop Israel. They made a whole fuzz, now to have this very explicit “red line” not just to stepped over, but rolled over with a bulldozer. There is no red lines for this administration.

They haven proven once and for all, that they are no better than Trump for the Palestinians.

  • So to get this straight. Israeli government employees are attacking french government employees. But instead of sanctioning the government that is behind these attacks on french government employees, they choose to sanction some private citizens instead?

Sure those private citizens are intertwined with the government and supported by it, but this is like saying “i wont play with your little brother anymore” as a way to “stand up” to the bully that has beaten you, while you still pay him your lunch money every day.

  • Think about it. the “fighting human animals”, total siege, thought for arrests by the ICC prosecutor Gallant was too moderate for Israel. Now they put Katz up, who declared once again, that there will be no peace coming from Israel, only annihilation and his goal is to go to full on war with a country of 90 million people, and some 60 Million people in countries in between.

There is nothing coming out of Israels mainstream society except for genocidal blood lust for a total war. However as Israel has not enough soldiers to fight a war against countries with 15x their population in total, that will mean they will try to drag everyone of their allies into it. And that dragging in doesn’t just mean weapons. It will require boots on the ground.

  • Lol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benny_Morris

Scholars have perceived an ideological shift in Morris’s work starting around 2000, during the Second Intifada. Morris’s perspective has been described as having become more conservative and more negative towards Palestinians, viewing the 1948 expulsions as a justified act.

    Baruch Kimmerling

In an article in HNN, Baruch Kimmerling discusses Morris’ 2004 Haaretz interview in which Morris states:>

if he was already engaged in expulsion, maybe he should have done a complete job. I know that this stuns the Arabs and the liberals and the politically correct types. But my feeling is that this place would be quieter and know less suffering if the matter had been resolved once and for all. If Ben-Gurion had carried out a large expulsion and cleaned the whole country - the whole Land of Israel, as far as the Jordan River. It may yet turn out that this was his fatal mistake. If he had carried out a full expulsion - rather than a partial one - he would have stabilized the State of Israel for generations… Even the great American democracy could not have been created without the annihilation of the Indians. There are cases in which the overall, final good justifies harsh and cruel acts that are committed in the course of history.

Kimmerling describes Morrris’s views as “shocking” and says that Morris “has abandoned his historian’s mantle and donned the armor of a Jewish chauvinist who wants the Land of Israel completely cleansed from Arabs” He criticizes the analysis of Morris as misunderstanding the impact of the refugee problem on the current conflict, and the magnitude of an even larger refugee population.[35]

I encourage to read all of the “Praise and criticism” section in his wiki. Benny Morris is definitely not a reliable source.

  • problem is that behind closed doors he repeatedly said, he doesnt care. SA is de-facto a major supporter of Israel even if they don’t hold formal ties. At some point a few month back MBS said he is scared of getting assassinated over his support for Israel. Meanwhile signs of solidarity with Palestinians are banned in SA.

Until SA proves by actions that they changed course, i see these statements as lip services of a scared dictator.

Israel embracing their plans for a “greater Israel” including parts of Egypt, the Arabian peninsula, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and a bit of Turkey more and more openly might force him and the other collaborating Arab regimes to genuinely change their position. Otherwise Israel will just annex them one by one.

  • So how would you describe Gaza during the past 6 months? Everything in rubbles, hospitals barely functioning or not at all. People starving to death while the US still supplies the bomb to murder them more actively…

Especially the past month that Israel is just straight up ethnically cleansing northern Gaza withour any pretense left, murdering American citizens, attacking UN troops…

There is absolutely no indication that Harris would have turned things around. Because the points to turn things around kept passing and passing and she made a point instead to declare here steadfast support for Israel.
