Yeah, I would prefer not to use Google, so I’m going to figure out how to use another authenticator. I wish Proton had the ability to be an authenticator, but I haven’t seen a way to do that yet.
But all my family has a Google account, so it just makes things easier.

I just got this working today and can say it’s quite an elegant solution. It means anyone with a Google account (that I allow through Cloudflare settings) can take advantage of immich. I plan to be the storage server for my family so they can have automatic photo backups.
If you decide to go that route and have questions, hit me up. I spent a while troubleshooting issues caused by not creating a SaaS application in Cloudflare, so read the directions exactly.
Maybe with T.G.I Friday’s coupons?
I’ve been using Qwant as well and it’s actually really refreshing. No nonsense and I feel like I get better results than Kagi and Google and Bing.
I love it so far.
I’m in the US and I’ve not seen any of it either.
Windows 11 kinda sucks, I don’t know why it’s so hard for them to design a consistent UI, but I’ve not seen this ad nonsense.
I am using adguard DNS across my network, so maybe that’s why?
I legitimately thought David Copperfield was dead. Didn’t he die during an escape stunt?
Or was that someone else?
You’d just have the religious nutjobs get the thing shut down in the name of “saving the children.”
I don’t know what the Baghdad citizen would do though.
(In case this goes over people’s heads, I’m calling the Mississippians the religious nutjobs)
What am I if I crave familiarity, routine, AND novelty and new experiences?
Toyota Hilux: the middle-east terrorist’s truck of choice.
But seriously, those things are everywhere in the Middle East and Africa.
My problem? The next day, I’ve completely forgotten about the conversation and the event. So it’s an hour before the thing, I remember there even was a thing, then don’t go.
It wouldn’t shock me if there was some Deadpool/Wolverine foreplay involved as well. Might even devolve into just Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman looking longingly into each other’s eyes.
People don’t use these things as primary income. It’s an incentive to keep swiping because they’ll say to themselves “just a couple more and I can get a $5 gift card. I’m here anyway.”
And so they just keep swiping. They become addicted.
That’s exactly why people love web programming so much. There’s always a challenge.
Ha, I swear, this must be sarcasm.
Great article nonetheless!
Oh awesome, thanks!
Welp, guess I’m going to get rid of Disney+. I already hate that they flooded it with Hulu content. I very much cannot let my kid browse through unattended anymore.
I mean, Poor Things is on there now and it has some of the most explicit sex scenes I’ve seen in a movie in a long time.
When a fictional series becomes a documentary.
Both. Economies suffer when the populations cannot replenish workforces and when average age gets older and older.
You end up with too many people to support and not enough people to do the work.
The cities look SO MUCH nicer without cars. More open, less crowded (probably because of a much lower population, but there’s way more space), and it’s likely a whole lot quieter.
Not sure about air quality because they had basically no regulations on industrial pollution, but I can’t imagine it would be all that bad when away from the factories.
I wish we could just get rid of cars, honestly.
Edit: I’d never thought about firemen using horse-drawn carriages to get around to fight fires, but it makes perfect sense. It’s just funny to see!
And making sure to tell the USA how stupid they are at the same time.
A bit hypocritical, eh?
