Ah, well in that case, fair enough.
I’ve done my fair share of ridiculousness to keep free crappy hardware running.
I will say, try running Alpine Linux on a container.
I’ve managed to extract some usefulness out of a borderline e-waste Android tablet running some flavor of Jelly Bean, so outdated you couldn’t connect to most websites due to bad TLS certs, by running a Alpine Container on it.
Alpine was the only distro I found that could run up-to-date software on such a ancient version of the Linux kernel, everything else failed to work at all.

Linux? Two or three commands.
Powershell? Here, run this monster or download an application to do it for you and call that via the command line.
Last time I used Windows, the only way to suspend the machine was either poking some random ass .dll from System32 or downloading PsSuspend by Sysinternals ffs!
Well I really dislike updating my computer (and on this topic, Windows Update is inconvenient and slow as balls!) and finding some new BS from Microsoft on it.
One day it’s Copilot, which I could just use on the browser if I really wanted to, the next day it’ll be Recall, which just… no.
Know what I mean?
Only now?
My Windows computer stopped felling mine when 10 came around
Widely considered?
Surprised to hear that, whenever someone posts him on Lemmy most of the comments act like he’s the best thing since sliced bread in video form
Wait? Are you telling me the 🫨 face is not justified??? Impossible!!!
Thanks for the recommendation, only thing keeping me on RealVNC Android was the better UI 🙏
Doubly your fault for deciding to give that twat any time of your day
Holy shit! This is the first one of these things I’ve seen with SATA slots
