Hell, although there’s no real, strong evidence to suggest it actually has made the jump, and research has shown it would be really difficult, its probably not impossible. If you ENTERTAIN the stories about the people suspected of possibly contracting CWD, it’s even more scary. (Yes, I know the study does more to disprove human infection, than not, but it does a good job of outline suspected cases)

I just know there are “ads” on government websites I’ve seen that don’t necessarily follow the traditional concept of what we’ve come to know as advertisements, but are adverstments none the less. How they’re set up, and what function they serve beyond directing people to a different place, is beyond me.

Maybe I should have phrased it differently… Adverstments aren’t always from sketchy companies stealing your info, sometimes they’re from sketchy governments too…

Maybe they’re ads for their own government services? Technically, an adverstment doesn’t have to just be for skeezy companies trying to steal your info or money.

Like your on the drivers license pages and you see a space on the side that “advertises” getting your license renewed. It’s more flashy and draws attention more than just a link to help people find what they’re looking for easier.

Not in the UK, but my official city page has 3 advertments prior to getting to the body of the page (which is the offical link tree). One for reporting a concern, one for the recreation department, and a rotating one for more receration stuff and the transparency department.

I know it’s a testing treaty that even America was never in, but something seems fishy, and no one seems to really be talking about it.

Isreals war is pretty obvious on its face, (You see who’s throwing punches at whom, in the news) but if Russia nukes Ukraine, it’s going to be a whole other animal.

what went into the meta analysis and why? What data might be missing from the meta review and why? Is only including double blind randomized controlled trials the best research method to answer the specific question being addressed? Was everything included together actually comparable?

The critiques / rebuttals to the masking review typcially ask these questions. This review almost falls apart after considering the answers.

If there’s not enough information to form a solid conclusion, maybe they have no business analyzing it until there is. At the very least, if they’re going to include partially unrelated studies, then reflect that in the title / opening statement. Don’t say the analysis is of apples, then analyze fruit in general.

I’m not saying that either I’m saying Americans are lazy and have no sense of work ethic and immigrants regardless of what they’re paid (not that I want them to be paid anything but the fair wage anyone else should be entitled to) are a required part of our work force and I’m grateful for the work they do. We wouldn’t have roads or building, or food. Some get paid well, some get paid shit. Im not a farmer so I can’t tell you if they chose to let the whole seasons crop go to waste over paying others more to pick said crops, or if they just didn’t have anyone that wanted to do actual work. From my narrow view, I have the tendency to think that no one wanted to work.

This is also true, but that true across most industry in America at this point.

If pay is even across the board than why would one person want to toil in the sun vs sit on thier bum and deal with angry customers. Most pick the angry customers…

Even when the more manual labor jobs do pay well, a ton of people quit after a day or two, granted they’re usually younger people who didn’t realize what the job would entail.

To be fair a couple of states cracked down hard on illegal immigrants and millions of dollars of crops rotted cause there was no one there to pick em. The states reversed course pretty fast.

Americans are pretty lazy at this point, and I speak as an American.
