Yeah, I can’t remember the last time I went to McDonalds: Progressively shitty food, progressively higher prices, and increasingly lengthy wait times.
It’s not fast, it’s not good, it’s not cheap, and it’s not convenient.
Hey everybody, look: I kbinned!

Freedom is inherently dangerous, so, yes. We accept the risk of course because not being free is fucking terrible.
Shame about the ugly neighbor though, hope he finds his way out a window soon…
Of course they fucking do, it’s the 5th circuit. It’s a shitshow down there.
Makes sense, coffee makes me stronger too.
Nice username. Tell Tad I said hi.
I don’t know who that is, but I’m glad to hear it! Fuck cancer!
Guess it’s time to check out a new YouTube channel…
Depends on what you find interesting I suppose…
This is basically just fishing but with fewer steps.
Yeah, that’s a pretty good observation.
I’m not sure I understand your sentence, could you explain a little more?
I just don’t understand this shit but it seems to happen with all sorts of games: Why the fuck do people care what gender players have? Like, why!? Just play the game and stop worrying about other people. Damn.
TIL: Chess had separate things for genders.
Weird…
It can help, but is not perfect. There’s kind of been an arms race between services like Cloudflare and script kiddies/hackers DDOSing: Their methods became a little more sophisticated to the point that they keep the traffic shifting from address to address so it’s harder to track/block.
They’ll do other things to mess with the host too like spamming “white noise” pictures to fill up server storage space, so while DDOS attacks play a role, there are other issues at play on top of that.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been using Kbin.social and sh.itjust.works as well and they have also had some issues here and there. No host will be perfect and invulnerable from every attack, and when an instance becomes more popular, it becomes increasingly likely to be targeted by attackers.
If only the US and China weren’t the only two countries in the world…
You don’t need a federal law to sue someone. You can sue anybody for literally any reason.
Doesn’t mean it will be successful of course, and if it’s frivolous, you’ll probably have to pay court costs and for the defense lawyers, but you can totally sue pretty much anybody for any reason at least in America.
I would not describe any of them as “pretty quick” but I do know how long it takes to cook a burger and it’s never as long as I’d have to wait at these shitty places: It sure as shit doesn’t take 10-20 minutes to cook a burger on the presses they use. These corporations understaff their restaurants and pay shit wages, so, of course, they don’t get very good employees (or even if they do, why would they try very hard for that pay?)
