Maybe. But I don’t think it’s anything other than a big defeat for them. Nothing beats being beamed into people’s living rooms to give you accessibility and credibility. Even if they become more extreme online there’s a lot of competition in that space.
It looks like the biggest culprit is poor or non existent lod’s on the models. Strikes me as odd though as that’s a pretty basic art requirement for a game like this. I don’t see how this took them by suprise.
I guess the good news is that’s it’s easily fixable. It’s not like ksp2 which looks like it has some pretty unsolvable core issues.

It’s great. Has overlays for wind, radar precipitation, satellite cloud cover, you name it. Plus you can compare the forecasts from a lot of the big name forecasting models.

It’s not been a problem on Dartmoor. I go frequently and the only litter I ever see is around the car parks. People who litter don’t like walking or something.
The feedback loop is positive? I’ve not read that anywhere, are you sure? There’s a number of tipping points, some which we may have passed already but I don’t think there are any beyond the ability of mankind to counter by simply reducing emissions. Seeing as we’re the greatest contributor to greenhouse gases by a mile.
