Logically I think it makes more sense for Larian to want to buy the video game rights specifically as anything beyond that would be outside their scope.

Could also really hinge on the electricity cost for their region. At 10 cents a kwh and a delta of 100 watts we’d be talking 87 dollars a year assuming it’s always running at a delta of 100 watts.
I doubt there will be a 100 watt delta especially newer architectures that idle really well.
They can also just refuse to do the job because it hurts the laborers that work for them. They got laborers doing this because they didn’t treat them like people. I don’t think they should expect to be treated well when they treat others poorly.
