Genocide.
Genocide.
Exactly. With youtube’s shitty tutorial search functions ever since they removed dislikes, i kinda need to see the start of the video to know if its even relevant. But no. Full on 2-3 pre-video ads.
The only truth here

A phenomenon that causes climate change is not necessarily caused by climate change. If i burn a forest down it would increase climate change, but the cause is me burning down a forest.
So no real evidence this is connected to caused by climate change huh?
Wont it be able to take screenshots of my desktop and such?
Is this actually true withoit using wayland?
Some of these dont really ship worldwide. Not all of them offer a good bang for the buck in terms of hardware specs, and big companies sometimes offer more options (system76 traditionally didnt offer screens over FHD, most laptops are only 14"…).
Dont worry, the market will simply regulate itself.
I understood the problems are about security patches being late there, and the freeze periods. Why not usw unstable?
The first 2 months dont really count. People wanna finish that one show or continue until they find a good replacement.
People on reddit/lemmy said they would leave. They dont really represent the vast majority.
Dont those companies that collect your data always keep stressing how much they dont directly sell your data so third parties cant actually know its you?
Bullshit. The U.S. constitution is AI written. You will never convince me otherwise.
Opera is chromium based though.
You dont even need this DRM bullshit to become law. Chrome will simply put a warning before entering websites without it that goes “this website doesnt use name of a technology the user doesnt understand and therefore might be dangerous”. Thats it. Every and all websites will immediatly implement this DRM bullshit or die.
If all of the oil companies comply, all is gonna be well. If only one of them doesnt, things are gonna end up well as well. If only two dont, its probably still gonna be good. If three…
They just all wanna be that “one company that doesnt comply”, so they all dont comply.
There is a known experiment about 100 students being given a choice before a test - choose A and you gain 2 extra points. Choose B and you gain 6 extra points. However, if more than 30% of the students choose B, no one gains anything. From what i checked, in every iteration of this experiment, no one gained anything in the end. Thats just human nature.
The problem is that the ones that will benefit from AI taking over are the big companies that create such AIs - Google, Meta, Apple. They will grow exponentially by having AIs work for them 24/7. So its not like himanity as a whole will grow, it will just be these companies, and they will slowly become the rulers of humanity.
I never used siduction, im juat aware of its existence. I think they add some stability(=reliability) on top of sid and also keep updating packages during sid’s freezes. Dont quote me on this.
My best middle ground is openSUSE tumbleweed. It is a rolling release but very reliable. Its not bleeding edge. It has snapshots which function like very small stable releases every few days insteqd of every package being updated individually. Every such snapshot has automatic testing. So all in all, very stable for a rolling release.
“Israel bombed a hospital. 500 killed, 300 injured”
“Eh, actually, it was a self inflicted failed launch”.
“Oh right. So as i was saying, it was just a parking lot near a hospital. About 30 killed”.
