I’ve been using Bazzite for about 2 months now (daily driver for about a month and a half) and Lutris came preinstalled for me. I’ve had zero problems using it, I have battle.net games and EA app (fuck that app BTW) games installed and it just works for me.

Was it not preinstalled with your initial installation of Bazzite?

Unfortunately true, but at least Poilievre is nowhere near as batshit crazy as the republicans are. Still fucking sucks that the cons are most likely going to win though. At best things will continue to get slowly worse like they already are, and at worst, things will degrade faster.

Either way the average Canadian isn’t getting any help from whoever wins the next election.

Ten forward is a good example, the big posters in c/risa got fed up with the mods and made ten forward on Lemmy.world. Now I almost never see risa anymore but ten forward is always on the front page.

I had a GS in the past and she was one of the best dogs I’ve ever had, amazing and funny personality and insanely loveable. But that’s because she was brought up in a house where she was treated right and raised right.

Social media is one of the worst things for humanity, instead of every “village idiot” being shunned as they deserve, now they can all find each other online and circlejerk about how they know “the real truth” and everyone else is just “blind to reality” as if they knew any better.

The worst thing about stupid people is that they’re to stupid to know they’re stupid. Anyone with a shred of intelligence knows there’s a ton of things they don’t understand and leave it to people that actually put in the time and effort to become knowledgeable about their particular field of knowledge.

This defeatist attitude pisses me off, something needs to be done to curb this bullshit. Literally no one needs or deserves hundreds of millions, let alone billions of dollars, and this cancerous “profits must go up every year or your company is a failure” needs to fucking die already. Why do companies making hundreds of millions to billions of dollars in profit need more fucking money? Why can’t being rich af and literally not being able to spend your net worth in a single lifetime be enough?

We went from 1 salary at a factory being enough to raise a family, buy a house, buy a car, and go for a yearly vacation being normal to even 2 highly educated people working together and sharing expenses barely being able to afford a fucking house. Now the average person is expected to give a giant portion of their monthly earnings to pay off some parasitic landlords mortgage plus some profit for the “trouble” of being a fucking parasite.

Eat the fucking rich. Enough is enough.
