You can consume in public, just not in alcohol free zones. The zones are generally city/town centres where there are usually places licensed to serve alcohol. Everywhere else you can drink as you please as long as you don’t get too drunk.

I used it to code small things and it worked eventually whereas if I just decided to learn coding I’d be stuck cos I don’t do computers, I do hvac.

I live in an area with a large number of pubs that are local. There are ones as you described which are just full of drunks and shit quality overall which I avoid.

There’s definitely ones I avoid because they’re intended for families and the children will scream about the place as you would expect children to do. They’re great for families though, they have play areas for kids, those little claw grabby machines, they serve food and have a large beer garden with an outdoor play area.

My favourite one is a microbrewery, no kids, not too many people in there so bar staff can see who’s had a bit too much but the people who drink there generally don’t cause any trouble anyway.

I literally haven’t seen any propaganda about France or Germany so the propaganda machine might be broken.

I’d also say that most of the bitching and blaming others people outside the country see would probably be the Tory cunts in charge who are hopeless sacks of shit that just want to fatten their wallet before they retire.
