It doesn’t appear that they’re asking for money so maybe your vibe detector is broken.
Boycotting Israel seems like It’s pretty obviously the right thing to do.

How dare they fight back. That’s such an antagonistic thing to do. Don’t they know they’re not allowed to defend themselves.
It reminds me of my own father knocking down the bathroom door and then saying, “Put your hands down. I consider that threatening.”
I put it on a lot of things sweet and savory alike. It goes with the rosemary, pepper, salt and coriander when I roast potatoes. It also goes into snickerdoodles or a half dozen different kinds of cake. It also makes a really good additive to soap if you make your own soap.
It’s such an underappreciated spice, at least in the US where nobody seems to know what’s going on despite enjoying the food.
The only time people don’t question what the flavor is, is when I make Indian food.
Some of the largest protests the world and specifically America had ever seen took place during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars drawing incredible numbers of people all across the country to protest. Our government got violent putting down a lot of those protests and The News largely just didn’t report it.
It’s just harder to hide shit now, but a lot of people seem to discount how much power the TV had over what people thought was going on outside.
Too late, the damage is done.
We’re funding Israels pogrom and pretending that everything they said about UNRWA is true.
Just because angels, gods, gremlins and Eskimos are imaginary doesn’t mean that people can’t be afraid of them.
John Green is gonna be so mad.
That would be a good protest sticker to add as an amendment. Just the words “to stop the slaughter”
It’s not a war until the other side is able to fight back.
It’s hard to imagine that police in Korea have solved all the crimes with victims and now have enough time and resources to go after victimless crimes so vigorously they drove people to suicide.
Maybe the police need their priorities straightened out.
Did they use the part of the hospital Israel built to be a bunker as their command center?
Are we considering armed guards at hospitals to be war crimes now, because Israel built that bunker and definitely stations armed guards at all of its hospitals.
Oh goody, A friend of mine Just expressed interest in something I like! Maybe I’ll share a bit of information with them…
Forced military service in an ethnostate engaged in genocide is a pretty righteous thing to oppose.
Conscription is yet another good reason to stop finding or enabling Israel’s psychotic march to the sea.
What is going on in this thread? It’s like comments keep disappearing.
Saying they are Putin’s hired guns makes it seem like Putin is the person who convinced them to join into a conflict that didn’t involve them when in reality we have been supplying arms to the people (Saudi Arabia) that have been exterminating them indiscriminately and without consequence.
We chose to be their antagonist. They didn’t really have much of a choice between get wiped out or find somebody to help them fight back against getting wiped out.
Putin is a bad guy, He’s going to use every resource he can in his invasion of Ukraine. If we were not supplying weapons to the people that are bombing Yemen then Yemen would have no reason find someone to help them resist us.
Putin doesn’t have to sell opposition to America to countries that are being bombed by it. That’s a problem we create. The easiest way to deradicalize Yemen (and plenty of other anti-western political sentiment) would be to stop enabling Israel and Saudi Arabia to ignore human rights.
Putin is the bad guy in Ukraine. The United States and Saudi Arabia are the bad guy in Yemen.
The fact that we have chosen to be their antagonist means that it’s only natural they would look for somebody to help support them even if that somebody (Putin) is only doing so for the most selfish reasons.
Yemen didn’t pick a fight with us. Yemen didn’t pick a fight at all.
Maybe NATO should prevent the United States from giving Saudi Arabia the weapons they need to eradicate the entirety of the population of Yemen. Maybe this is another one of those problems that we could solve by not propping up the fucking bad guy.
The vast overwhelming majority of people being murdered in Gaza are not Hamas and have nothing to do with them. What’s going on in Gaza is the extermination of an ethnic group from land that they historically inhabited alongside another ethnic group that despite experiencing a most horrific extermination of a similar type is unable to reign in its own genocidal government.
Erdogon is truly a garbage human being and an opportunist, a monstrous piece of shit and a terrible statesman, but he has the moral high ground compared to somebody like Benjamin Netanyahu who is basically the moral equivalent of a Nazi.
That prevailing wage? Most prison laborers in America make less than $0.50 an hour If they’re even paid at all, and are severely punished if they try to take a sick day.
I can’t find anything that specifically says that Walmart, Wendy’s, McDonald’s or any of the other ones pays even minimum wage to prison laborers, but these businesses do get a $2,400 tax credit for each work release inmate they employ. The work release inmates are probably paid a real wage because they count as real people but I have trouble believing they would ever pay more than they absolutely had to for an inmate’s labor.
They didn’t tell us the age of the assailant last time or the victim. I’m guessing they tend to choose words for the headline that might have the most impact.
“White Swiss man wielding a machete attacks other Swiss people and injures possibly white Swiss baby” Just doesn’t seem to really fit in a headline.
