Yes, I can understand that, but he’s been a lead voice on the environment a lot longer than most. I guess he’s swapped his beliefs & scruples for the trappings of monarchy, and that diminishes him rather than elivates him in my eyes.

A written constitution sets things in stone. That’s okay… until the everyday realities change.
Just my opinion but, the way the UK does things at the moment is much more flexible. However it could do with a system for abolishing out-of-date, or updated laws.

FWIW I’m still very much an advocate of the Mark Shuttleworth Convergence vision. It’s the Holy Grail that makes sense to me.
I am saddened that Caroline Lucas is not seeking reelection at the next General Election. She has been an excellent member of Parliament and a clarion voice on the environment.
I read recently that RPiOS has a Micro$oft key pre-installed (so that your RPi phones home to Microsoft)… It totally puts me off what is an excellent lightweight OS.
