First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
We need to teach this bitch about the next Amendment then.
Arm up now.
I agree with @[email protected]
Queue even more lawsuits. This is actually a good thing for a number of reasons:
- ACLU is already on deck to file suit as will certain state AG offices
- This opens up angles for civil lawsuitsmfor anyone involved in the chain trying to enforce this as law
- They can’t actually enforce anything, even at the federal level (unconstitutional) and win in court
- Opens the door more at the local level for any security or police forces to be sued for even attempting anything like this, so they’d be stupid to even try acting on this
As far as revoking student visas, there’s a bit of a problem there.
Hmm. “Suing means protesting, bigly” next fash thought.
We tried the ballot box, and they’re trying to take that away. We tried the soap box, and they’re trying to take that away.
We still have the jury box, but I sense we’re heading for box 4.
SCOTUS took away the jury box with their President is King rulings.
Is he intending to enforce this federal edict with federal agents?
It’s ok, because it says congress shall make no law. /s
Haha, but FUCK you for clueing me in to how the Supreme Court will interpret the Constitution so maliciously.
