This is some insanely ignorant right-wing BULLSHIT.

First, they start at 2012 and try to make it seem like it wasn’t a decade ago, and things are still the same. WRONG.

Then, they move on to bullshit stats about the population that has “the means to do well”, and their own take on how things are going. The numbers they referenced are in 2018.

I can stop right there, because 2012 was only 3.5 years after the biggest meltdown in the modern era of financial and housing markets. 56% of the people in the US lost EVERYTHING.

Then they move on to how things are now, and you see where this is going. MASSIVE economic shift to the wealthy. The people who made it through the economic collapse and still had some money invested in the downswing, and now they’re doing great! ALL GOOD!

Idiotic at best. I’d love an economic YouTuber to have a run at this dumb shit. It’s so bad.

Thanks for the heads up. Ironically I think the dream is dead, and needs to be reborn through the urbanism movement. I think we need to kill the idea of the suburban house and build up the idea of solid townhomes and rowhomes. Let’s redefine the American dream.

Ah, yes, dreaming about hearing your neighbors through walls, being at the mercy of an owner’s association, and having no functional yard to speak of. I’m sure everyone will be on board with that.
